One, it could be not wanting others to invade your alienation, because life is getting too stressful for you, or you just want to be left alone for other reasons. Another, it could also be a song about not wanting others to steal your spotlight in life generally. Either way, I think the song speaks for itself, the music, the lyrics, the vocals, everything.
