Oct 9th 2013!⃝This interpretation examines a man who battling depression and feels there is only one way out of it...
We see a man sitting by himself. He is fighting a battle alone...and he feels like he is losing. There is no hope in sight, no end to the pain he is suffering, and there is only one logical choice he sees...to let go of it all.
Suddenly we see another man, he's much older and more experienced. He enters the room. The older man notices the younger man sitting by himself. Instantly,he knows what the younger man is going through. This man has also fought the same battle, but not alone. He walks up to the younger man, picks him up, and supports him through his fight.
Still, the younger man wants to let go...his world is shattered. It's cold and bleak. There is no end to the pain...no light at the end of the tunnel. The younger man tries to let go, but he is caught by the older man. The older man looks at the younger man, he can tell he is lost and afraid. He tells him, "I am with you, I will carry you through it all."
The younger man understands he is not alone and that the old man will not let him go. He comes to the realization that the older man is his only hope through his fight.
