Apr 11th 2018!⃝The song is about love interest (rumored, and not confirmed by Taylor.) Zac Efron. Taylor played nonchalant towards him when asked about him and the possible dating outcome. Whenever it came to Efron, Taylor would give nonchalant uncaring responses, and shrugged them off without a single reaction.
On March 1st Zac flew to NYC for work. On March 7th, Zac flew to London for work. In April he again flew to NYC first then London in a small sum of time, proving he has a hectic schedule.
That being said. The song is about falling for someone you didn't know you had feelings for. Taylor in the lyrics many times, implies she made a big mistake as to why she admits to playing nonchalant, and; "Now I can Put this Down" / "Sink In." All of those lyrics, imply that Taylor made a mistake, cause she would've had him, if she hadn't acted that way, but it's too late. Now she is stuck with the pain of long distance and being in love which she hates.
