Even though you work harder than other people (work while they all play), it's still not good enough. You'd spend long hours preparing or scheming and yet it still wasn't enough. The part where it says "the time will come when you have to rise, above the rest and prove yourself your spirit never dies" means that there will be a time for you to rise over everybody else, and show that despite not being good enough, and not matter what you face, your will or spirit is indestructible, meaning you don't give up and you continue to persevere. "Farewell, I've gone to take my throne above, but don't weep for me cause this will be the labor of my love" I think means that you've gone to Heaven to in a sense be above everybody else, but he's telling somebody not to weep for him because everything he did was out of his love for that certain thing. Finally, where he says don't turn away kind of ties to the whole idea of perseverance. No matter what situation you're in, and when it seems like you're not good enough, never turn back but continue forward and keep working. Eventually, you'll rise above the rest.
