Interpretation:
/1/This is a bit hard, probably about a zombie debating the reason of all this since he "reborned" as a zombie/1/
/2/The crows are an analogy to the zombies, all waiting to their time to act./2/
/3/They wonder who'll be their next victims./3/
/4/They are agitated, they'll only rest when they eat someone. or many someones./4/
/5/The zombie refers to a corpse found thrown on the ground after an attack, probably of other zombies that aren't him./5/
/6/He can't hold himself before the desire of feeding, human flesh is so delicious to him./6/
/7/When there's no survivors to go after, the zombie simply keep stopped almost blankly while the sun irradiates over him.. until he finds a prey./7/
/8/Maybe the zombie envies the happy life that the survivors have (or used to have) once that he cannot have it for him./8/
/9/The sound of crying and despair from the survivors being pursued sounds like music to the undead, just this./9/
/10/Maybe all the experience of being a zombie looks like a dream to them, maybe the zombified people be aware of their actions and imagine that all that is a kind of dream just to them to not have to face the reality of what happened to them; though it's very real and lucid, they all share (or "pool") the same dream (or nightmare) of being what they became./10/
/11/The zombie wants an answer, he wants to know that means all this that is happening; all this "dream"./11/
/12/He feels that there's a survivor close, the metallic smell reveals it clearly, but the survivor is very well hidden and the zombie can't find him anywhere./12/
/13/The zombie waits to be found by the survivors to a survivor be killed and "reborn" as one of their peers; as a part of the zombies./13/
/14/However the zombie is aware of his actions and all the evil that he brings with himself, he hate what he is doing and desires that someone be able to put an end to his suffering by killing him (once that he can't do it by himself)./14/
/15/The zombie is obsessed by human smell, he simply cant control himself when he smells it./15/
/16/Human blood is not viscous as water, it's very thicker and sticker./16/
/17/The senses of a person become so much keener when he becomes a zombie, all he touches and see is much more stimulating./17/
/18/When the massacre is done, metallic particles of blood starts to moisten the air as water does. Blood is everywhere, coming from an enormous amount of bodies as much of zombies as of ex-survivors./18/
/19/The refrain's repetition, now referring to "the one". "The one" might refers as much as any survivor as to a specific survivor; probably Richtofen, once that he is the main responsible for this all; he did, now he has to undo./19/
/20/It reinforces the zombie's despair. He doesn't even care anymore who does it, he just wants that anyone finishes his suffering already./20/
/21/The chorus keeps stretching until the end of the song, maybe just for musical reasons or maybe also to reinforce the zombies's despair and/or the amount of zombies willing the same thing./21/
