This song rocks, one of my favourite Blink-182 songs. IMO, this song is about Mark's strong feelings for a girl he has met who works in the music industry.

"Let's take the boat out on the bay
Forget your job for just one day"

He badly wants to date and be with her, but she is very occupied with work and does not want to mix business and love.

"It might be inappropriate, because
Either way, our band gets dropped, oh yeah
I wish it didn't have to be so bad"

Again, Mark's feelings are conflicting as he knows this woman might not support his band's push for a contract, and then things between them would be even more awkward if they started dating.

"But I'd play with fire to break the ice
And I'd play with a nuclear device"

To be honest, these lines threw me off a bit. If I had to try interpret their meaning, I would say Mark is admitting to himself that his actions are futile, as playing with fire (using radical methods in order to convince her to date) to break the ice (form a relationship) is just as useful and using a nuclear device (everything will destruct into nothing).

"Is it something I'll regret
Why do I want what I can't get
I wish it didn't have to be so bad"

Mark is questioning whether it is wise to hope and push for something that will probably not happen. He yearns for things to be easier and less complicated.

"I'll be moving on, moving on, moving on and on
Moving on, moving on, moving on and on and on"

Eventually, and against his current will, Mark will move on and get over this girl.
