I was thinking,
the part where he says
"don't waste your time on me, you're already the voice inside my head"
like shes ruined him for other women. hear me out. it's like saying the feel of the song is he is willing to wait around for this girl, he is stuck in love with someone who probably doesn't love him anymore...
and how some people go back to a familiar person because they may be randomly lonely
and it leads people on, screws with their head, like when someone moves on but they don't wanna be a jerk and come out and say I wanna move on, but don't want you to.
I take it as he is saying don't waste your time on me... don't try and string me along. cause youre already in my head. with the decisions I make, the people I see, when u spend so much time with someone who is a big part of how you live your life you carry them with you...
