Feb 2nd 2017!⃝i think this song is about someone who has been cheated on'spanner in the works''gotta little competition'ect. but wants to overlook it and carry on trying to make the relationship work hence something good can work it seems almost as if it is mocking someones naivety or perhaps descibing their unconditional want and love which they are happy to overcome what seems to be described as an obstacle rather than an absolute descruction in the relationship.
it seems they want to be favoured over other people to their partner.
