Feb 6th 2021!⃝I think the song is about a person suffering from psychosis/schizophrenia. The first line in the song is “I live in my own world of make-believe” and that’s literally what psychosis is . It’s a disconnect from reality.the line “I see the world with eyes covered in ink and bleach” also supports the idea that he doesn’t see reality for what it is. The song also implies that people ignored his pain and suffering and just let him be hence “the ones that heard my cries and watched me weep”. The lines “ I love every thing” and “it’s hard to breathe but that’s alright” probably is him trying to reassure those who are trying to help, such as family, friends, and doctors that everything is fine, but the fire spreading in his room shows that he isn’t alright. I suffer from psychosis/ schizophrenia myself And like 90% of the things that he describes Happening to him or the character in the song I can relate to or has happened to me.
