Aug 8th 2005!⃝This song is about a guy (the singer) who, when looking at his girlfriend/wife taking off her make up can't understand why she wears it because in his eyes,when she isn't wearing any, she looks much younger and reminds him of the days when they felt freer and drove fast cars.
Hence the whole, "You don't look a day over fast cars and freedom..." and when they apparently fell in love by the river bank. The whole "baby, don't move, right there it is" is when he is looking at her in the present time and catches her looking like she did when they were younger, perhaps teens.
