With just these first 2 phrases you can already make out the conclusion that this guy had some sort of connection to this girl in an intense way.
from the 2phrase he says
"you cant be me (meaning you cant be be cause you don't know what kind of pain im in)
I will become you, tonight"
(meaning that hes gunna try to be like her and for get about her as she doesn't care about him for something he did or was to shy to confront her about)
Next 3 paragraphs he explains his pain and suffering. Then (Importantly HINTS GUILT) as if he did something wrong)
However, in the 4th paragraph he mentions
"Bridges I've been dreaming are going down,
They're changing my future
Visions I had buried underground,
Return us our futures"
<----- its obvious that him and her had some sort of future plans and but now the're buried underground (metaphorically speaking - he is dead and lost all hopes and the pathways to his dreams are gone ((Bridges I've been dreaming are going down))
So with all this said, there were 3 ppl involved.
him this SO CALLED GIRL and her boyfriend which they are all probably good friends, but then the guy cheats on her and something devastating happend OR!
all 3 of them were on Ecstasy and the guy who is telling the story got jealous that he didn't make a move and his friend did.
That's why he couldn't wait for the night to end and ran out into the cold light,however the guy fuckin her either gave her something or idk lol HE doesnt really HINT or foreshadow what the guy did to her in the end.
