Oct 16th 2011!⃝I think this song is about hayley going through life, just basically getting by. Having no fun. Finally, she realizes that life is too short to live like that, so she wants to start over, starting with the fact that years from now, when this boy is gone, she wants, instead of the memory of their boring relationship, for there to be hope and taking chances.
so, now, she's waiting for a miracle, so that maybe their relationship can be more than what it is.
The next part is (in my opinion) about living outside of your comfort zone. Letting down your walls and allowing uncomfortable or confusing things, like love, to come in. And maybe even let your love know what you're going through, that way you won't be going through it alone.
And, again, her miracle.
Then, she wants him to know that he's not putting his faith into something, he's just seeing whats been there all along. That there is no reason to be afraid of what might come because it's already there. She's telling him that she's willing to put their past behind her, as long as he will take the effort to try not completely screwing up this time, and keep moving forward.
Then, the rest is talking about her miracle, and how he can't fail if he just looks right in front of him (it's not faith if you're using your eyes)
