I think it kind of fits, the line "all her doubts were someone else's point of view," sounds a lot like internalised transphobia, like having doubts about being trans because people around are telling you that you're making it up and doing it for attention, or people saying she's going to regret transitioning in the future. Also, the line "to smash the silence with the brick of self-control," could be a reference to the fact that Marsha P. Johnson (a trans-woman) is often credited with throwing the first brick in the Stonewall riots (although she has denied this) .
