Nov 22nd 2020!⃝My interpretation of the song is that is being sung by a boy who, in this case, just so happens to have a crush on his male friend. He finds out later that his friend is actually in love with a girl named Heather, and this song (in my opinion, please don't get mad at me) is about how he feels through the whole ordeal, how "Watch as she stands with her holding your hand

This song hits pretty close to home for me, especially during this last year, where I have had a MASSIVE crush on my best friend (she knows I'm bi, but I don't think she knows I like her) while she is hitting on this one guy. Every time I feel jealous of the two, I smile back at her and tell her "I'm so happy for you". So yeah. That's my interpretation of the song. I could be wrong...
